Use existing data sources
I observed that some information in the GNOME project get outdated quickly. There are several sites where they need to be updated. For example for an app there might be a README, a .doap-file, an /Apps GNOME wiki page, a website etc. All these might get out of sync.
Therefore I wanted to suggest to consider using as many existing information sources as possible and encourage people to update these data sources instead of adding information to yet another site.
.json files might still be used to enhance or overwrite existing information.
