Original author: Clinton Rogers
Original description:
Steps to reproduce:
In a recent version of Ubuntu, launch Shotwell.
Insert media that contains images or connect a camera.
Within Shotwell, under 'Cameras', choose the camera or media inserted in step two.
Mouse over the 'Import All' button and observe the results.
Choose to import several images, such that the progress bar is present long enough to be easily visible, and carefully observe the lower right corner.
Notice that the corners of these UI objects are cut off behind the resize handles in the lower right corner of the window.
This also occurs in the single photo page: the 'advance photo'/right arrow icon is similarly partially obscured.

Reopening for 0.11.1 per Lucas - this is for the remaining areas affected by this problem that aren't being addressed for this release.

I'm not convinced this is worth doing unless it's really easy. After all, this work would be undone in 0.12 (see #4025 (closed)), so it seems to me that it might be easier to simply call Gtk.Window.set_has_resize_grip() in our PPA packaging for 0.11 for Natty just for this one release (just like Ubuntu does in their own packaging). Lucas, you were the one who made the call to go down this path (specifically in #3275 (closed), comment 11) - what are your thoughts?

We discussed this and decided to push this off to 0.12 when we port to GTK+3.

OK - since we're not planning to fix this for 0.11.1, are we planning to call Gtk.Window.set_has_resize_grip() in our PPA packaging of 0.11.1 for Natty? If so we should ticket that separately. It might not be a high enough priority to implement at this point, though - you guys make the call.
In any case I think this ticket no longer corresponds to any actual work since the solution for 0.12 will be #4025 (closed), so I'm closing this.

I should have been clearer -- we decided yesterday that we wouldn't implement this for Natty on our PPA and fix this in 0.12 when we port to GTK+3. You're right, this will be fixed in 0.12 in #4025 (closed), so this ticket can close.
