Phantom drags on note list after suspend/resume
After I suspend and resume my laptop, Gnote always believes that I am dragging when I move the mouse over the list of notes.
The cursor turns into the drag cursor, a ghost of a note follows it around, and when I move it over the notebook list, the drop cursor appears. Hitting Escape
cancels the drag, but leaves behind a semi-transparent ghost of a note:
These disappear when I close the application.
What's weird is that this only happens in Gnote – no other app, even Gtk ones using the same Flatpak runtime, exhibits this problem. And yet, restarting Gnote does not resolve the problem. It also feels like a shell bug – but restarting the shell does not resolve the problem.
I'm mystified – any ideas for how to dig deeper?
I'm using:
- Endless OS 3.7.0 (the development branch)
- X.org
- Endless's branch of GNOME Shell 3.32
- Gnote from Flathub – there are no patches besides backporting the appstream updates from !1 (merged) and !4 (merged). The runtime is
org.gnome.Platform/x86_64/3.32
. - Dell XPS 13 9318 (with touchscreen, though touching the touchscreen doesn't change anything)
