Exceptions to recurring / repeating events are not taken into account
One of the many dealbreakers for me regarding repeat events (alongside #282, #399, etc.) is that GNOME Calendar is unable to represent exceptions to repetition patterns, whereas Google Calendar and Evolution do.
To reproduce, in Google Calendar:
- Create a weekly repeating event
- For one of the weeks, drag-and-drop move the event, or delete it, thus creating an exception in the pattern
- Sync GNOME Calendar / EDS
Result: GNOME Calendar is unable to represent the deviation (i.e. the deleted event from one of the weeks still shows up as if it was happening on that day), but surprisigly enough, Evolution is capable of doing so.
Tested with GNOME Calendar 41, but the problem has been around forever.
