Improve workflow for Incognito-by-default for links opened by other apps
I have Incognito set as the default http(s) handler, so links opened from other apps like Signal and even web apps like Mastodon open in Incognito by default.
As such, to open a link that I would like to open in non-Incognito mode, I need to remember to (and not be lazy enough) to copy the link via a context window, open a new regular tab somewhere, and paste the link. This is a "lot" of work, so it would be good if this workflow could be automated a bit.
At least two possibilities come to mind:
- Support auto-fill of logins in Incognito mode - so if I click on e.g. a gitlab link in my email, I can just log in and deal with the ticket in the Incognito window.
- Have a "Open in Regular Browser" button in the Incognito headerbar that automates the manual process above, i.e. opens the current link in non-Incognito mode, then closes the tab/window.
Also, having #277 would help as well, because then I could have e.g. a web app for gitlab.gnome.org which would collect all links opened for that.
