Way to open the current incognito page in non-incognito mode
I have been trying Web in incognito-by-default mode and it's handy, but there are times I actually want to have my history tracked, access bookmarks and saved passwords, etc. As far as I can tell, there's no way to get out of Incognito mode without completely disabling the incognito-by-default preference which is inconvenient.
From #952:
I have Incognito set as the default http(s) handler, so links opened from other apps like Signal and even web apps like Mastodon open in Incognito by default.
…
Have a "Open in Regular Browser" button in the Incognito headerbar that automates the manual process above, i.e. opens the current link in non-Incognito mode, then closes the tab/window.
I'm explicitly focusing on that specific suggestion, as I think it would also solve my main issues with the incognito-by-default mode. It's also a nice spiritual successor to Ephemeral, which means I could officially retire that app and suggest people just use Web instead.
If we want to talk design suggestion, I think the simplest way forward would certainly be an additional item in the menu, perhaps labeled "Open page in non-incognito window" or "Open page in regular window" depending on the terminology you want to use. An additional button in the headerbar could be considered, but I don't know that it's really necessary.
