enabling easy copy/paste doesn't disable regular copy/paste shortcuts
Bug
I love the Black Box "easy copy & paste" feature. It's great to have consistent copy & paste shortcuts between applications. However, it would be even better if enabling this setting also disabled the default <ctrl><shift>c
and <ctrl><shift>v
shortcuts. The default command in Vim for visual block mode is <ctrl>v
, which I remap to <ctrl><shift>v
. That setup worked for me for a long time while using Tilix with a custom shortcut of <ctrl>v
for paste. I tried to do the same in Black Box, only to discover that enabling "easy copy & paste" doesn't free up the <ctrl><shift>v
shortcut. I understand that this might be best resolved by !55 (merged) and manually setting the shortcut to something else like <shift>insert
, but I still think it would be useful if enabling "easy copy & paste" automatically disabled the standard copy/paste shortcuts (if possible).
Steps to Reproduce
- enable "easy copy & paste" setting in Black Box
- use a terminal application with a
<ctrl><shift>v
shortcut (nnoremap <C-S-v> <C-v>
in~/.vimrc
for example)
Expected Outcome
For the default copy and paste shortcuts to be disabled so that <ctrl><shift>v
is passed through to the terminal application.
Actual Outcome
The default copy and paste shortcuts are not disabled, so <ctrl><shift>v
isn't passed through to the terminal application.
