Feature request: Make user explicitely define EFI, Swap and root partition when using custom partitioning scheme
The current implementation does not make it entirely clear to both the user and developer of the os-installer scripts what will be done or they should be doing.
Currently, when the user provides a partition I can do two things;
- Purge the partition and replace it with my usual stack of EFI/Swap/root
- Use the selected partition as root and attempt to guess where the user intends me to put the EFI and Swap partitions
Option 1 could lead to me making a partition mess on the disk and the user having to clean it up.
Option 2 could lead to data loss or unbootable secondary installed operating systems.
I also would not be against having an option to disable this entire feature and only support full disk wipes.
