    GitLab prefer ChangeLog over NEWS and thus show obsolete
ChangeLog.pre-1-2 as the main ChangeLog file. Rename ChangeLog.pre-1-2
to NEWS.pre-1-2 to be NEWS correctly shown as the main ChangeLog file
in GitLab interface.
