[Gnome 45.rc] shortcut-menu shortcut does not work when panel is hidden
Summary
Not sure if this technically qualifies as a bug or a feature request. It is also quite possible that this is due to behaviour in gnome-shell and thus not fixable by the extension.
Gnome 45 introduced a new shortcut (super + s) to access the quicksettings menu. If the just-perfection option to hide the panel is enabled the shortcut only works in the overview. This is regardless of if the panel is shown in the overview or not. This leads to inconsistent behaviour:
- if the panel is always hidden the shortcut only works in overview
- if the panel is always shown the shortcut works in overview and on the desktop
- if the panel is shown on desktop and hidden in overview the shortcut always works
- if the panel is hidden on desktop and shown in overview the shortcut only works in overview
Steps to reproduce
- Install gnome 45.rc
- install just-perfection
- hide panel on desktop
- try shortcut -> doesn't work
- show panel on desktop
- try shortcut -> works
What is the current bug behavior?
The shortcut panel does not appear
What is the expected correct behavior?
