Automatically remember view mode (tabs vs horizontal / vertical / rows / columns split) and window size
As I am typically using Identity to compare two videos at a time, always on the same computer monitor arrangement, I always end up having to resize the window and set up the UI in "side by side" split view mode, because that's pretty much the only thing that makes sense on my ultrawide (21:9) display. Setting this up everytime, however, is a bit tedious, especially since the "New window" command spaws yet another "reset state" window that needs to be configured.
Instead, it would be nice if Identity would automatically remember and restore, across startups and new-window spawns:
- The window's width and height
- Whether the view was set up in tabs, rows or columns split the last time
