bug: Playback speed shows previously used speed but plays at 1.00x
Steps to reproduce
- Download 2 podcast episodes.
- Play an episode. This will display and play at 1.00x speed. Set the playback speed to 2.00x, and it will display and play at 2.00x speed.
- Now press the play button on the other podcast episode you downloaded. The UI will display 2.00x speed, but the actual playback will be 1.00x speed.
Reproducible in:
- Flatpak unstable: yes
PS: The comment in the bug template says to type after the semicolon, but :
is a colon. A semicolon is ;
.
Current behavior
Whenever I switch track, the UI displays the same playback speed I was using before, but the actual playback speed always resets to 1.00x.
Expected behavior
In any case, the actual playback speed and UI should always match. In my opinion, the UI is correct and so the expected fix is that the actual playback speed should persist even when switching episodes.
