Explicit Planner Coding Style
The venerable “Getting started on hacking Planner” defines a number of formatting rules.
They are fairly respected throughout the code.
I think that establishing rules is not enough. We should provide the means to respect them.
We could translate these rules for a machine, write a configuration file for one of the code beautifiers:
If one writes code, he can pass it to the code beautifier and feel confident that Planner's coding style is adhered to.
The configuration file should of course follow the rules defined in “Getting started on hacking Planner” . If the rules change, the configuration file follows.
