Synchronized playlist is empty after succesfully syncing on my Android phone.
Environment
- Lollypop version: 1.4.33
- GTK+ version: 3.24.33
- Operating system: Linux Mint 21.1
Bug
After the syncing finished, all the songs were there and nothing was wrong. Except for when i checked playlists as i found it to be completely empty. For some weird reason the .m3u was present at the end of the playlist name. My phone is running Android 7 and its a Sony Xperia L1.
Edit: I fixed the issue by going to the .m3u file and removing the #
from #EXTM3U
, then restarting the device and opening the music player shows all the songs in the playlist. But I'm wondering, why is the #
present in #EXTM3U
? why does hiding that cause the playlist to appear empty? I don't know programming so please forgive me for a probably dumb question.
