Lollypop merges albums with same name (even though artist and composer is different)
Environment
- Lollypop version: 1.4.37
- GTK+ version: 3.24.37
- Operating system: Manjaro Linux 22.1.0
Bug
I recently added a new album to my library that happened to have the same name as another album in my library. When reloading Lollypop, the original album disappeared and instead there was a link at the bottom of the artist display saying "appears on" and then displayed the new album artwork. If I click on that I get one unified album that has both album tracks smashed together.
Now, initially I did have network access turned off, so I re-enabled that after checking the tags on the files (which have proper artist, composer, album, year, etc) set on them and that didn't help. Initially I had the composers as being blank (to avoid album splitting), so I then tried setting all of the tracks on each album with the appropriate artist as the composer. No change after reloading lollypop.
The new album doesn't display in that artist's list either, but instead the "appears on" album shows at the bottom.
The albums in question: First: Endgame - Rise Against Second: Endgame - Megadeth
Screenshots included of the lollypop displays, and the tags as listed by puddletag.
