Some album metadata for artist is not being honored and shows as "Multiple Artists"

Bug
With some albums, with fully populated metatag info, the albums end up showing up under a hidden "Multiple Artists" label even if there is one artist that is correctly defined in the metatag.
For example, I have the album Child's View by Nobukazu Takemura. The tags are populated for each track, but here is an example:
$ mp3info 01\ -\ Phases\ of\ the\ Moon.mp3
File: 01 - Phases of the Moon.mp3
Title: Phases of the Moon Track: 1
Artist: Nobukazu Takemura
Album: Child's View Year: 1994
Comment: Genre: [255]
All of the files are similarly tagged with the same data except their respective title and track number.
I was able to fix this particular album by adjusting the directory structure from:
<Music Library>/Nobukazu Takemura - Child's View/01 - Phases of the Moon.mp3
to
<Music Library>/Nobukazu Takemura/Child's View/01 - Phases of the Moon.mp3
There are however dozens of other albums that have the same issue, and it can be hard to find the "Multiple Artists" list to identify them. The only way I have found to discover these is to search for a particular album, view it, and then click the "Multiple Artists" artist name field. I mostly listen to albums. So, having missing albums and artists in those views due to this bug is an inconvenience.
