Last.fm scrobbling not working on 1.4.2
Environment
- Lollypop version: 1.4.2
- GTK+ version: ?
- Operating system: Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon
Bug
Firstly, I just wanted to say that I absolutely love this app and thank the developer immensely.
With that being said, I am currently having issues with the Last.fm scrobbler in version 1.4.2.
Installing Lollypop via the Linux Mint software centre, which uses version 1.2.35, allows the Last.fm scrobbler to work as it should. But when I install the more recent Flatpack version (or latest version from the Lollypop repository) any songs I play do not scrobble.
Yes, I click on the link in the setup, which takes me to the Last.fm website where I successfully authenticate the Lollypop app. I then return to Lollypop and it will say connected, however no tracks will scrobble. And every time I close Lollypop I will have to reconnect. Not that scrobbling works when I am "connected" however.
Is there something I should be doing for this to work, or is 1.4.2 simply not suppsed to be used on Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon? (which uses the Ubuntu 20.04 codebase).
Hopefully I have provided enough information. If not, please let me know.
Thanks again.
