Program crashes when I click on Playlists (1.2.35)
Environment
- Lollypop version:1.2.35 Flatpack from Linux Mint Software Manager)
- GTK+ version: libgtk-3-0:amd 3.22.30-1ubu amd64 libgtk2.0-0:am 2.24.32-1ubu amd64
- Operating system:Linux Mint 19.3
Bug
Installed program and loaded up my Music folder. No problems for the first 20 mins until I clicked on the Playlist button. The program shut down at that point and I was back on the desktop. I had set up one of my own smart playlists shortly before this occurred.
After fault finding for awhile I toggled "set program to open up in Playlist (not the exact wording". This just made things worse, now I am locked in a loop. I open the program and because it immediately tries to open up in "Playlist", it crashes 1/2 a second latter.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing but I am still locked in the loop.
I installed Lollypop 1.1.4.16 using:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnumdk/lollypop $ sudo apt update $ sudo apt install lollypop
Not nearly as nice as your latest version, but no problems. I tried unistalling this version and then installing 1.2.35, but still locked in the loop (open program and it crashes 1/2 a second latter.
MY QUESTION: How can I delete everything about "Lollypop version:1.2.35" (including my instruction to open up the program in the Playlist menu)? At least that way, I can continue fault finding.
NOTE:
I am not sure if I answered your "GTK+ version:" question correctly. This is how I came up with the answer.
