Is GUIDs preference group necessary?
I started working on some cleanup for this project, since currently the transition between the devices and their detailed information is quite slow. I started looking at the GUIDs labels, since they look horrible and in GTK's IRC channel it was commented that it was probably due to some complicated sizing of the labels. The design of the rows with an AdwActionRow
and a GtkLabel
suffix seemed totally reasonable, but the problem is that the great length of both make the rows to look not-so-good
So I asked in the Design channel on the best way to present that information to users, and they commented on the actual utility to present the users with that information. Could you explain the specific rationale for this? To me they also seem a bit not so important, so maybe removing them is an option? Thanks a lot :)
