The feed removal dialog shown after clicking "Show" within the "There are some errors" messaging at the top of the feed list does not communicate enough to the user
Feeds version 0.16.2
The dialog simply says "There were some problems with some feeds", and then Yes/No prompts me to remove them. This is not sufficient information for a user to make an informed decision about what action to take. It does not always show the problem feeds within the dialog. A 404 of a feed so far is the only way I've seen this dialog really communicate a specific issue to me. Further, a dialog box doesn't seem like the appropriate UX control to display this information. Could it be shown in a dialog similar to the "preferences" dialog where the problem feeds can be shown in a proper way along with what the issue was?
to summarize
- The user needs to be shown what feeds are not working
- The user needs to be shown specifically what is broken with a particular feed. Is it in an unsupported format? Was there an error parsing it? More information is needed here.
- There should be an intermediate step that happens before just prompting for deletion - is the reader prompting me to delete a feed after being unable to access it a single time? How many times? Is there any action the user can take that isn't deletion?
Thanks
