a11y: unlabeled controls
Fractal is built on top of the modern technologies where accessibility is a natural feature. Fractal even in its current state of development can be considered to be the most accessible desktop matrix client. It would be nice to document and eventually fix the remaining accessibility related shortcomings so it will fit nicely with other accessible GTK3 apps.
There are some unlabelled buttons, toggles and menu buttons throughout the whole app such as the button opening the menu with the Logout item, the button opening the menu with the Room details and Leave room items, the button revealing the Search and, the member list expander, attach file button and possibly some more. Seemingly these include descriptive icons so they can be immediatelly recognized when looked at. For people relying on assistive tools we need to provide accessibility labels if visible textual titles or labels are not going to be added.
