[RPM packaging] Auto-requires "typelib(Unity) = 7.0" during install, but runs fine without it
Environment
- Eolie version: 0.9.16
- GTK+ version: 3.22.26
- Operating system: openSUSE Tumbleweed (x86_64)
Bug
I am trying to package Eolie (excellent browser, btw! Thanks for your app!) for openSUSE Tumbleweed. I think I have it nailed down mostly [1], except the rpm seems to automatically Require typelib(Unity) = 7.0
during install time. openSUSE does not have libunity in its official repos, and so this makes the package uninstallable. If one chooses to ignore rpm's error about this missing dep and install the package anyway, like I did for testing purposes, Eolie seems to be working fine. If you could suggest or work-out a way to build Eolie without libunity support entirely, or just stop this automatic dependency, that will be very helpful.
