Backup failed - could not understand duplicity version
Hi,
I have the same issue as closed ticket #50 (closed), but I'm using Debian 9. I installed deja-dup from snap, because I got an error finding the 'debian-oldstable-main' repository in the software install app, when I tried to install deja-dup from the desktop.
Now, having installed it, I see this message when starting from a terminal: "python3: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.25' not found (required by python3)", but that message only appears when clicking the Backup Now button. Before that though, and from when I issue the "deja-dup" command, I see the following line twice: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module". I have installed the canberra-gtk and canberra-gtk3 libraries to try and fix things, but with no improvement. The version of Python I have is 2.7.13 :) Thanks in advance,
Steve
