Deja-Dup fails to browse backups from samba share
Summary
On a fresh, default install of Debian 12.1 MATE, with a subsequent install of deja-dup, Deja-Dup is failing to browse prior backups from a samba share. The "progress" indicator just spins, and sever telemetry shows that no communication is happening.
If I try restoring a single file, it works, but emits an error message I haven't seen before: After I setup the backup location, then give the command "deja-dup --restore filename", it emits "libEGL warning: DRI2: failed to authenticate". Then it successfully restores the file.
Reproduction Steps
- Install Debian 12.1 MATE using defaults
- Install deja-dup
- Configure deja-dup to restore from a samba share
- Attempt to browse prior backups
