Need a way to test the encryption password
Suggestion
I'm switching distros because I'm fed up with the one I'm using now.
Before i switch i want to test everything.
The problem is that it never asks me for a password when ever it makes a backup.
So, either i didn't setup a password or i checked off the remember my password feature.
If there is a password, I can't get anything out of my password and keys app because it's empty except for a "Login" folder which is encrypted with my very first login password.
I do have a password in my third party tool but i can't test it.
I have tried to simulate a restore from a second, admin, user pointing at my backups, but i get a permission denied error and I don't know how sudo the backup app so it can read the files. And I don't want to chown the files either.
I just want to confirm if there is a password, and if so, that i have the correct one so that when i take the disks to a new distro i have complete access to my backups.
