Notification to enter password does not open password dialog
Summary
When the automatic backup starts in the background, it will need the encryption password, if it’s not saved.
To this end, a Gnome notification will pop up, asking you to enter the password. When I click it, I end up in the initial state of the Gnome settings dialogue for backups, not in a password prompt.
It’s very rare that the password prompt shows up when I click the notification.
Reproduction Steps
- Configure a backup with password encryption, w/o saving the password
- Schedule it to run daily
- Wait for it to start automatically (probably the next day?)
- The start of the backup should be announced in a notification, shortly followed by the notification that a password needs to be entered
- Follow that notification
If the problem is reproducible, the initial Gnome settings dialogue for backups should show, instead of the password dialogue.
