Could not restore ‘/home/ensonic/.cache/deja-dup/metadata’: File not found in backup
I have deja-dup working on 2 out of 3 computers. All computer run opensue tumbleweed and deja-dup 42.8. The 3rd machine was only recently setup and I can't get deja dup to work. It fails with the error in the title when creating the first backup (no idea why it tries to restore something). When starting over, I
- uninstalled deja-dup
- used dconf-editor to reset all keys
- removed the deja-dup folder under .cache
- removed the partial target backup folder
As additional information, the destination for the backup is a nas-folder mounted via nfs. The current user can happily write to it. When that error happened, these files have been created:
-rw-r--r-- 1 nobody nobody 147 25. Nov 18:16 duplicity-full.20211125T171607Z.manifest
-rw-r--r-- 1 nobody nobody 90 25. Nov 18:16 duplicity-full.20211125T171607Z.vol1.difftar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 nobody nobody 114 25. Nov 18:16 duplicity-full-signatures.20211125T171607Z.sigtar.gz
I poked at the source where the error is printed but, can't make sense out of it so far. There is not machin information whats going on at all :/
