Feature request: Don't re-encode streams when saving
I request to save the streams on disk in the native format of the radio streaming, without re-encoding to OGG.
The native format of the streaming is always compressed (MP3, AAC+) and re-encoding in another compressed format generates a loss in audio quality.
Most Linux distro today are able to read proprietary formats (MP3 patents long expired, AAC require licensing only for codecs and not for player) and in any case if the Linux distro is not able to play those other formats the user will not be able to listen to the radio anyway. So the user can simply use the same technology it used to play the streaming in order to play the audio file.
