Cellular status not updated when connection lost
What problem did you encounter
If Phosh has a cellular connection it shows the signal strength and cellular network type. However, when you enter a spot without cellular coverage, the signal strength and network type are still shown in Phosh while you don't have any signal.
GNOME Settings fork of Purism has the same issue, except that it shows that there's no network. It shows 'Searching' instead.
What is the current behaviour?
Network type and signal strength is cached when network coverage is not available.
What is the expected behaviour?
If network coverage is not available, update the network type and signal strength
How to reproduce
- Boot
- Let the modem start up and connect to the cellular network
- Move to a place without network coverage (or wrap the phone in aluminum)
