Default to fullscreen mode (efficient screen usage)
phosh matrix sent me:
The top/bottom bars are a big problem with the 200% scaling that comes default on the L5 when in landscape mode where you lose >10% of the screen to said bars! As a result, I have a strong preference for fullscreen mode (even in portait). I'm fine needing to swipe from bottom/top to get back top/bottom bars. Admittedly, this causes problems because fullscreen mode makes the window NOT resize to accomadate the OSK (so relevant text feilds might get hidden). In my ideal scenario, top and bottom bars are always hidden (like in normal fullscreen mode), and the window resizes only when I open the OSK (to accomodate the OSK).
Maybe it could be as simple as a setting like "auto-hide top/bottom bars while maximized" to work in maximized window, or "resize fullscreened windows for OSK" to work in fulscreened windows.
As it stands, I plug in a keyboard often enough that the OSK inconvinience is not a big deal in fullscreen, and I can manually unfullscreen it in such scenarios. Therefore, I would rather fullscreen be the default. Is there a way I can set windows to default to fulscreen mode when I launch/switch to them?
