Do not create ~/papers by default
1.3.0-10-ge6d00bc4 (Flatpak)
I installed and ran Paperwork and without having scanned one document, I see a paper
folder in my home directory. Please do not trash user’s home directories – if every program would act like this, it would be a total catastrophe! Please change that to maybe a dialog box at first scan or anything like that.
Regarding the Flatpak: Shouldn’t direct access to user’s home directory be banned by the Flatpak sandbox? I would expect a portal request for any access to anything outside the application’s very own folders. And that all application data would get saved in those appdata folder somewhere in ~/.var/app/work.openpaper.Paperwork/
.
