Feature Request: Send by mail or even a generic send by...
Hi,
I notice that one of most repetitive tasks for me is to export a document as PDF (I do it in /tmp) open up my mail program (thunderbird for me) and send the document to a coworker.
This could be significantly been shortened by having a "Send by mail"-entry in the menu, which opens up the standard mail program, create a new mail, attach the document to it and (if one wants to go the extra mile) add already a configurable subject and body text to it. Thus, all one has to do is to type in the email recipient.
This idea could even be extended by providing a standardized interface. If paperwork expect to call a python function with a certain set of parameters, people could start to create all kind of send-by-interactions providing those python functions. The list gets longer and longer.... Send-By{mail, messengers, cooperate-systems, ftp, scp, rsync, nextcloud}. There are even services online to print it out for you and send it by mail. People could use it to fully finalize and customize mails to send documents to often used contacts with a single button press, like, e.g. send-to-johndoe, send-to-administration, send-to-accountant, send-to-approval, etc.
