Substantial overhaul of German translation - via Weblate or MR?
I am a member of the German l10n team for GNOME. Usually, we have a proofreading system in place, before a translation gets committed. As I understand, this is not the case with Weblate - once I upload a translation, it will get committed sooner or later, without a second look from another person.
I made extensive changes in the German translation in order to make it adhere to our standards. I feel like I should ask before uploading all files to Weblate: Should I file a MR with my changes so that they can be proofread and discussed here, or is it ok if I upload them directly to Weblate?
