Index pages lacking signposting
Ideally, each index page would include an introduction, a description of each of the pages it links to, and a clearly identifiable contents list. Currently, a lot of the key index pages miss this, which makes navigating the docs less easy than it should be, and doesn't give a good impression.
- Platform overview - no text at all, no heading for the contents list
- Components - says "Welcome to the platform overview", which is odd, because it's part of the platform overview. Doesn't describe the main sections.
- Guidelines - "contents overview" heading is separated from the content list by a big paragraph; page doesn't describe the main sections.
- Programming guidelines - the contents list starts half-way down the page, with no segregation from the previous bullet list.
- Maintainers guidelines - no heading for the content list, no overview of the sections.
