Noun splitting is not allowed in Norwegian
A classical typo in Norwegian is to split nouns in English style. Noun series are in Norwegian built by concatenating noun upon noun upon noun. In special cases, typically with import words or complex concatenations, a hyphen is used.
For example, Airplane mode switch (fly modus bryter) becomes flymodusbryter, but as this becomes a bit cumbersome to read, using a hyphen for readabiliy, flymodus-bryter is OK.
