libgweather: French translations for Louisiana Cities missing
I was checking the XML file for the french translation for place-names and Louisiana only has New Orleans translated. I went ahead and double checked that these are correct spellings for the locations on Wikipedia and using the Dictionary of Louisiana French. CODOFIL is the closest thing Louisiana has to a french standards organization and is an excellent resource on Louisiana French place-names. Below are the translated names for other cities currently listed in the registry anything omitted is spelled the same in both languages:
Alexandria - Alexandrie
Baton Rouge - Bâton-Rouge
Grand Isle - Grande-Île or Grande Île (I would leave this spelling to the judgement of the translator on best spelling practice, this is a town situated on the island of Grand Isle (Grande Île) so the dash may be used to represent the town or omitted to point to the island)
Lake Charles - Lac-Charles
Natchitoches - Les Natchitoches (We typically refer to Natchitoches in the plural when we speak french in Louisiana, however I don't think it would be pertinent but I'm mentioning this here in case its useful)
New Iberia - La Nouvelle-Ibérie
New Orleans - La Nouvelle-Orléans (There is no "La" in front of it in the XML but I've found other cities in which it is present. I don't know if this is a style decision but New Orleans is almost never written without the "La" in front of it)
