Website goals
Concentrate information about GNOME and its projects: how to get GNOME, what are the main advantages of GNOME, what's new about the latest version, what are the GNOME programs (currently, it doesn't exist, but it's a very nice to have in the main website, I believe), what are the technologies that GNOME uses, how to support GNOME (donating, becoming a Friend of GNOME or contributing to GNOME) and to read about the community.
The main website is also the place where we can find information about the GNOME Foundation, including how it works the current board of directors, the list of staff who assist the organization and the GNOME project, how the GNOME Foundation governance works, legal and trademarks information, reports from the GNOME Foundation, the list of members and how to become a Foundation member and contact information.
Besides all of those contents, the website provides links to the other GNOME websites and social media and it's also the first place to read about the latest GNOME news.

The website design itself is very simple, it contains simple buttons and it's basically made of text and images displayed in their respective positions, that's why currently there are just a few different replicable elements. Most of the pages have a title and/ or description in their beginning, we could design a component that contemplates this pattern (for example, GTK new design has a component for each page that contains the title of the page, the description of the page and an image).
