Infrastructure for GNOME 42 release notes
For GNOME 41 we discussed migrating away from the old combination of mallard and library-web, and @jimmac came up with a site based on Sphinx, using Markdown. In the end, we made some improvements, switching to Gitlab pages and updating the page style, but we continued to use Mallard.
I think that the main stumbling block for new infrastructure has been translations. However, I think we came to the conclusion that the old infrastructure didn't do a good job of making those visible, so I wonder how much they were ever used in practice. We also had some issues with translations in the solution we came up with for 41 (see #34 and #36).
