Consider setting default branch as the latest release's branch
A Git repository does not have to have 'master' as default branch anymore. If 'master' branch has no use for this repository (which I'm not sure it is the case), you could set the latest release's branch as default branch (e.g. gnome-3-36
) so that when running git clone
, the current default will come up, not the 'master' branch.
This is just a suggestion. Feel free to close when decided to implement it or not.
