Keynote suggestion: Ryan Sipes (Thunderbird)
I mentioned this at GUADEC 2023, but I was thinking that Ryan Sipes would make a good keynote speaker.
He's Colorado-based, he has been a long-time Linux user, he founded the Mycroft open source voice assistant before voice assistants were really "a thing," and he most recently took the Thunderbird email client from nearly being cancelled within Mozilla to being an independent, rapidly-growing, and community-driven open source project funded entirely by its users as the product and business manager.
I think the broad idea of taking a struggling but beloved open source project and turning it around would be really interesting and inspiring to attendees if he would be willing to share his story and maybe provide some insights.
