Hiding the clock from the top bar
Looking at the clock can be distracting and anxiety-inducing. GNOME/gnome-control-center!1277 (merged) was recently merged and it would be great to have a way to hide the clock too, providing a full "immersion" in the desktop (and GNOME Shell is designed to boost focus when doing tasks). This change would need something else to appear in place of the clock in order to open the notifications/calendar/weather/regional clocks.
There are extensions for that, but it would be great to have this in the Settings app, since extensions can break and cause shell instability.
