Renew the "Applications" section

Description
The application section over at http://www.gnome.org/applications/ presents older apps, and outdated screenshots (e.g of Nautilus).
My suggestion, completly redo this section, and split it into two categories:
Core apps (Maps, Music, Nautilus), and custom apps (like GIMP, Inkscape)
Do not show applications for the same kind of action twice, or more (Maybe show Rhythmbox, but not Banshee, we already have GNOME Music(?)). Do not show Tomboy.
Try to do that with a switch control (like found in the header bar of new GNOME applications)
Shorten the first string,
"Hundreds of applications are available for GNOME. They enable people to engage in a vast range of activities, including everything from playing media and editing photos to system administration. And the vast majority are freely available. Here are just some of the great applications that you can use on GNOME."
to something shorter, and represent the website better.
