Quoted content in email is stripped out
I just replied via email with the following body:

This is a quoted reply from email.
I had a couple of issues in the past:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/-/issues/809
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/-/issues/889
so, if replying via email does not work, it could just be an
infrastructure problem.
Ciao.

The signature (everything after --
) has been stripped out (and this seems to be logically correct) but so it was the quoted message (everything above This is a quoted reply...
), and this looks wrong to me.
Is this the expected behavior? Is there a specific syntax to use for quoting?
