Description
Description of Problem:
Steps to reproduce the problem:
- open a term write some huge texts onto the console so that scrolling happenes - find /
Actual Results: After scrolling starts, slecting a different term tab/ or another terminal is slow. shading/hiding the window and restoring is slow. Try ctrl-c ing the process. That also takes sometime!
Expected Results: response can be better here.
How often does this happen? whenever scrolling ahppenes for say more than 10-20 pages.
Additional Information: I am a developer using gnome, I have multiple consoles with tabs doing tail -f on log files. Once havy scrolling starts, all the consoles are inaccessible. The resonse for the same in CDE is much much better. I am sure we can do something about this.
