Ctrl+Shift+V doesn't scroll to bottom
I have the default settings:
Scroll on output: no
Scroll on keystroke: yes
Ctrl
+Insert
(copy to clipboard) and Shift
+Insert
(paste from primary), Ctrl
+Shift
+Insert
(paste from clipboard) scroll to the bottom.
Ctrl
+Shift
+C
(copy to clipboard) and Ctrl
+Shift
+V
(paste from clipboard) do not scroll.
I think the behavior should be this:
Ctrl
+Insert
and Ctrl
+Shift
+C
(copy to clipboard) do not scroll.
Shift
+Insert
, Ctrl
+Shift
+Insert
and Ctrl
+Shift
+V
(paste from here or there) scroll, at least if the pasted data is nonempty.
Despite the wording "Scroll on keystroke", I think the obvious implied meaning is "Scroll on input". No one expects to scroll to the bottom on other hotkeys (e.g. new tab, zoom, search, lone modifier presses etc.) but when such a keypress generates input towards the application that's running inside.
While at it, probably Ctrl
+Shift
+U
preedit stuff should scroll, too. Input is not yet generated towards the app but most likely will be generated soon, and not seeing the preedit area doesn't seem useful to me.
