vte.sh: some characters are wrongly shown before PS1
If I source vte.sh like that in my .bashrc
# /etc/skel/.bashrc
#
# This file is sourced by all *interactive* bash shells on startup,
# including some apparently interactive shells such as scp and rcp
# that can't tolerate any output. So make sure this doesn't display
# anything or bad things will happen !`
`# Test for an interactive shell. There is no need to set anything
# past this point for scp and rcp, and it's important to refrain from
# outputting anything in those cases.
if [[ $- != *i* ]] ; then
# Shell is non-interactive. Be done now!
return
fi
# Put your fun stuff here.
. /etc/profile.d/vte-2.91.sh
I get strange characters sometimes, like:
bash: ll: no se encontró la orden
pacho@dell-2017 ~ $ ll
bash: ll: no se encontró la orden
pacho@dell-2017 ~ $ ll
chobash: ll: no se encontró la orden
pacho@dell-2017 ~ $ ll
chobash: ll: no se encontró la orden
pacho@dell-2017 ~ $ ll
chobash: ll: no se encontró la orden
pacho@dell-2017 ~ $ ll
I refer to that "cho" before "bash...."
It's like it's getting some characters from the prompt
This problem has started with this change: #139 (closed)
If I comment the pwd line in vte.sh, it works nice again
Thanks
