[PATCH] set terminal widget background color to terminal background

Description
I'm not very knowledgeable about gtk widgets, so I apologize in advance if my terminology is wrong in this report.
I notice when using gnome-terminal, particularly on networked X where the redraw isn't instantaneous, that when switching virtual screens (or tabs in a tabbing window manager) the window background is momentarily visible prior to drawing the terminal over top of it.
This can be very distracting because the gtk window background color is rarely the same as the terminal background color. For example the gtk background is usually some shade of gray, whereas the terminal background is usually either black or white.
I wasn't sure what I was seeing at first, so I changed the gtk window background to a bright red (momentarily rendering all my gtk apps unusable). Set like this, I can clearly see the bright red background of the gnome-terminal window before the terminal widget is drawn over top.
My suggestion is that the gnome-terminal window background color should be set to whatever is the current terminal default background color. I don't think it needs to do any dynamic detection of the running program; it should be a significant improvement to simply use the terminal background color as set in the profile preferences. Then there won't be a disturbing flash of color when changing virtual screens or window manager tabs.
