Description
When gnome-terminal window is at unfocused state, clicking on empty area of it makes a selection of new line.
This selection is not something expected as clicking on gnome-terminal window should only focus it, users trying to paste selected text with middle click can not do it because new gnome-terminal selection overwrites the old selection.
Clicking on text in vte does not create any selection when gnome-terminal is unfocused. Only clicking on empty area makes it behave like that. Since most of the terminal is empty area, selecting an unfocused gnome-terminal mostly end up with a selection making using middle-click paste impossible most of time.
Expected behaviour should be not having a selection on first click at unfocused window state. It should focus the window first but not select anything. At focused state single click selection of newlines can be considered normal.
