Shell file search does not work when there are stop words in query
This happened in Archlinux, with gnome shell 3.30.2 but happens since 3.28 I believe.
Steps to reproduce
- Index a file containing stop words, like
Ross from Friends - Talk to me, you'll understand.mp4
; - search in shell:
Ross from Friends - Talk to me, you'll understand.mp4
,talk to me
,talk understand
,understand talk
; - no results are returned.
Expected outcome
Shell should return the file in search results with the given queries.
The command line command tracker search
finds the file; it just warns the user about the presence of stop words, i.e:
tracker search talk to me
The term «to» is a stop word.
The term «me» is a stop word.
Stop words are common words that are ignored when indexing.
*search results*
In a way this is related to gnome-shell#878 (closed).
