Reconsider the videos grid
It's a long time since we did any design work around the videos grid - the last time we touched any mockups for this was 8 years ago.
The grid originally came out of the old finding and reminding project: each type of content would have a dedicated app which would allow browsing, searching, and organising. Sadly that project didn't really work out.
I think we also have to recognise that the grid in videos isn't working all that great. At least in my experience, it is generally cluttered with a seemingly random assortment of videos. I almost always open my videos from Files instead.
One of the main issues here is the lack of series grouping - something we've been waiting for for 9 years - but I think that there's also a more general question around how much utility the videos app can offer over the file browser, which is what people are already using to organise and browse their video files.
Given all this, I think we should consider removing the grid. (If we do do this, I would want to pursue an alternative approach to browsing series, maybe with a popup like you get on some of the streaming sites.)
